
The MacCurdy-Salisbury Educational Eligibility
Applicants may be considered for scholarship awards who are:
1. bona fide residents of the town of Old Lyme or Lyme, Connecticut for a minimum of two years
2. graduates of high school or equivalent
3. candidates for an Associate or Baccalaureate degree or equivalent diploma
Qualifications:
In making its selection from among eligible applicants, the Foundation will give consideration to the student’s financial need as judged by the Foundation pursuant to a recommendation by the Foundation’s Financial Aid Consultant.
Awards:
Announcement of scholarship awards will be made individually to each successful candidate. One-half of the amount of the award will be paid in July upon advice from the student that definite arrangements have been made for admission to a college or school named by the candidate.
The award for the spring term is sent in January. To qualify for the award for succeeding semesters, the student must submit a report to the Secretary of the Foundation of his or her grades, or other acceptable evidence of satisfactory academic standing.
